If not, listen,
YouTube will only approve your request of monetization of your content, if you have a Thousand views and 4000 hours of watch time, yep you read it right, three zeros with a 4,
the policy would surely hurt the new Youtubers who has recently started or are thinking of a startup on YouTube, YouTube has revised their policy several times but this one is not at all pleasing,
This all is done because of a Popular YT stars' controversial video,
"to ensure the strong trust of advertisers these steps felt necessary" YT representatives suggested, furthermore
Googles' VP of engineering Paul Muret said "The size of channel obviously is not enough to be eligible of advertising"
Further regularities are also expected.
Now, what should a new creator do in these type of situations, first of all they should not lose calm, that would be the worst, the only thing they could do is make new content as much as possible but only with the originality, or else the whole point would be destroyed, you have a passion, you have skills, you have talent so use it, this YT policy shouldn't stop or demotivate you, if you're true to your game, doors will surely open.
and if you're on YT only for money, then my friend you might be in trouble, but keep striving and you will some day be able to achieve your target.
we should all keep working and striving towards our self set goals and always remember;
"you need to face hurdles to test your extremes or else the self made illusion of being good will someday kill you"
